Flexis - Director Strategic Planning - F/M

Flexis, formed from the Joint venture between Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA/CGM in April 2024, is a European mobility solutions OEM based in France. Flexis designs, develops and manufactures a new generation of 100% electric commercial vans and provides fleet management solutions based on a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture.

The Start Of Production (SOP) of the first Flexis vehicles is planned in April 2026.

We will become the  primary provider  of  electrified last mile delivery services  through  connected solutions  and  vehicles  for our B2B partners and customers.

We are a team of  diverse  peers looking to create a future company which will grow to 140+ collaborators  over the next six months across 3 launch markets.

We aim to rapidly reach a  significant size  with sales in excess of EUR2Bn. We are thinking  big  and  fast . We will operate at the junction between electric vehicles and the digital world.

Job Description

• This is a broad role, supporting the CEO in making the wheels of the company turn.
• You will act as a strategic extension of the CEO — part thought partner, part operator, part fixer.
• You will ensure the CEO’s time and attention are leveraged for the highest-impact activities while also playing a pivotal role in critical business initiatives.
• You’ll help shape company strategy, manage top priorities, ensure cross-functional alignment, and support key decisions — often behind the scenes, managing by influence, but always at the heart of the business

Key Responsibilities

• Business Intellligence: Analyze trends, major changes impacting the business (Vehicle and Digital / Technology industry), competitor and regulatory news.
• Strategic Planning : Help define and track top strategic priorities, and risk areas.
  Be a sounding board to the CEO for decisions, plans, and investor or board communications.
• CEO Leverage: Anticipate needs, prepare for meetings including but not limited to Board and LET meetings , and ensure follow-through on high-priority actions with special focus on ensuring x-functional animation.
• Project Leadership: Own specific projects which are not addressed naturally by the existing organization, or require breakthrough mindset, or high-speed execution.
• External Stakeholder Support: Coordinate high-level interactions with board members, investors, strategic partners, and key customers.
• Team Effectiveness: Improve leadership team operating rhythm (e.g., exec meetings, offsites, OKRs), and drive accountability across the org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in top-tier consulting, venture-backed startups, private equity, or high-growth operational roles.
• Proven problem-solving, strategic thinking, and executive communication skills.
• Trusted, discreet, and highly self-managed.
• Proven ability to influence and drive results without formal authority.
• Deep curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset. You thrive in ambiguity and love building clarity from chaos.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Bonus: prior experience working directly with a founder/CEO.
