Head Pharmacist & Manager of Quality (F|M)
Sartorius seeks a Head Pharmacist and Quality Manager for its Saint-Priest cell therapy facility in France. This dual-role position involves leading the pharmaceutical quality system, ensuring regulatory compliance, and holding personal legal accountability for pharmaceutical activities under French law.
Responsibilities
- Own pharmaceutical quality system including deviations, complaints, change control, CAPA, and audits
- Ensure quality capabilities meet regulatory expectations and maintain Quality Policy and customer agreements
- Lead management reviews and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Represent company before ANSM and competent authorities; hold and maintain regulatory authorizations
- Build, lead and develop the Quality team; manage crisis situations and regulatory intelligence
Requirements
- Doctorate in Pharmacy with specialization in cell/gene therapy or related field; French registration required
- Minimum 5 years managing teams in GMP-regulated industrial environments
- Fluent in English and French; additional languages advantageous
- Expert knowledge of EU GMP, cGMP, ICH guidelines and pharmaceutical regulations
- Technical knowledge of cell and gene therapy manufacturing processes
- Understanding of service company business models and matrix organization experience
