It ties up cash, limits growth, and creates risk. Traditional financing solutions are often slow, rigid, and poorly aligned with the operational reality of inventory. /ppWe take a different approach. Wavo buys and finances inventory upfront, without debt or personal guarantees. Businesses can unlock cash, improve working capital, and accelerate their growth, while buying back their products progressively as they are sold. /ppWe raised €3.5M to accelerate our growth and expand our platform. Our ambition is to build the leading inventory financing infrastructure in Europe. /ppFinance will play a central role in that ambition. Our model relies on a demanding operating structure, where execution quality, financial discipline and the trust of our funding partners are critical. As Wavo grows, our ability to structure new facilities, strengthen our reporting, and make our model more robust, scalable and financeable becomes a major strategic lever. /ppToday, a lot still needs to be built on that front. That is precisely what makes the role so interesting. /ppThat is why we are hiring our first Head of Finance. /ph3About the Role /h3pThis is a build-from-scratch role. /ppYour mission will be to structure Wavo’s finance function with a very specific angle: making finance a lever for credibility, robustness and scale, in service of our funding relationships and our ability to open new lines. /ppThis role goes far beyond the finance scope of a traditional startup. Of course, you will also work on corporate finance, budgeting, cash management and board reporting. But the core of the role sits elsewhere: understanding our model in depth, translating it into a clear and rigorous framework for our funding partners, building the right level of financial steering, and laying the foundations that will allow Wavo to grow with discipline. /ppYou will work at the intersection of finance, operations and structuring.
