Job Title: Civil Engineer (Water)

1. Client Description

The organization is a leading global environmental and utility services provider specializing in large-scale water treatment and infrastructure solutions . They focus on delivering critical resource infrastructure and sustainable utilities management across Australia.

2. Scope

• Location : Based in Perth with the requirement to work on-site as needed.

• Project Scope : Water treatment and pipeline infrastructure development.

• Role Purpose : Oversee and drive civil construction packages, bridging the gap between engineering design and site execution.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution : Oversee daily civil site works, including bulk earthworks, detailed excavations, concrete pouring, piling, and pipeline installation.

• Technical Review : Evaluate engineering drawings, technical specifications, and method statements (MS) to resolve constructability issues ahead of execution.

• Quality Assurance (QA/QC) : Implement quality control plans, manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), conduct site walk-downs, and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

• Subcontractor Management : Coordinate civil subcontractors to guarantee strict adherence to project safety standards, budgets, and milestones.

• Progress Tracking : Monitor daily site progress against the master schedule, forecast resource requirements, and report directly to the Project Manager.

4. Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia .

• 4–7 years of site engineering experience.

• Proven background working on major infrastructure, civil works, or water/utilities projects.

• Certifications : Valid White Card (General Construction Induction).

• Competencies : Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS), excellent problem-solving abilities, and robust stakeholder management skills.
