Construction Project Manager (H/F)

Club Med
Lyon
Club Med was founded in 1950 through the vision of two men, Gilbert Trigano and Gérard Blitz. They created a new style of holiday: all-inclusive holidays in some of the world's most beautiful destinations, centred on the joy of sharing experiences and recharging through nature or sport.

Club Med offers its guests (its Gentils Membres, or G.M.) a unique, carefree holiday experience, made possible by the warmth and professionalism of its employees: the G.O.s, Gentils Organisateurs, and the G.E.s, Gentils Employés.

Context

The Construction Project Manager has overall responsibility for managing construction and renovation projects, from early-stage studies through to handover. They ensure that project objectives for cost, schedule, quality, safety and performance are achieved.

They manage several projects simultaneously at different stages of development, including new-build, major renovation and restructuring projects, under two delivery models: Direct Owner-Led Project Delivery or Technical Assistance to the Owner.

Under Direct Owner-Led Project Delivery, Club Med directly manages the project and contracts with architects, engineering consultancies, consultants and contractors. Under Technical Assistance to the Owner, Club Med supports an owner who directly delivers the project; the Project Manager represents Club Med's interests, ensures that its standards and requirements are incorporated, and coordinates internal stakeholders to ensure that the project meets operational needs.

  • Identify deviations from Club Med standards, assess their impacts and manage their resolution with the owner.
