Civil and External Work Engineer
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager in Lyon (69), and working autonomously from needs assessment through to project handover, you will contribute to the design studies for the Civil and External Works and Utilities package (VRD) , ensure the handover to construction teams, and provide technical support throughout the construction phase. You will also be responsible for the financial monitoring of your discipline during the design stages.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and design optimized technical solutions, including the sizing of infrastructure systems and preparation of technical specifications and documentation.
- Supervise the production of drawings, plans, and schematics in collaboration with the Design and BIM teams.
- Manage tendering processes, review, analyze, and challenge contractors' proposals to ensure technical and commercial competitiveness.
- Act as the technical authority for your discipline and ensure the consistency and quality of engineering solutions.
- Lead technical coordination meetings and support site teams to ensure the proper execution of works during construction.
- Participate in commissioning activities and carry out pre-handover inspections and acceptance procedures prior to project completion.
