## Company: Marsh Risk ## Description: Within our **Lyon office**, your main mission will be to support account managers in their prospecting mission. Business development plays a predominant part in your mission. You will contribute to the development of the commercial department at Marsh by prospecting identified targets (using our CRM or other tools) or targets you have identified yourself (press, personal network, social networks, etc.). Indeed, monitoring current events is vital in our prospecting activity and in the management of our client portfolio. Daily attention will therefore be paid to it in order to identify potential new opportunities. Thanks to telephone contacts, you will actively participate in "prospect" meetings and ensure the follow-up of commercial opportunities in tandem with an account manager. You can also support the account manager in managing their client portfolio. In collaboration with your tutor, your missions will be the following: * After having followed basic training on the framework of insurance (in-house), you will autonomously carry out prospecting actions to obtain appointments, * You will prospect targets while updating the information in our CRM tool., * You will participate in the elaboration of commercial proposals, * You will participate in the implementation of commercial campaigns and their follow-up, * You will accompany the account manager during visits to prospects and follow the evolution of commercial opportunities, * You will accompany the account manager on certain clients (relationship follow-up, request management, preparation of renewals…) * You will report your activities at commercial meetings. ## **Prerequisites:** * You are entering a Master's degree in September 2026 in a business school or university with a specialization in business development/commercial * You have good interpersonal skills, are autonomous and know how to show initiative, you ideally have a culture of the insurance world and/or more broadly of risk management. * Your English is professional both written and spoken * You have a sense of listening, adaptation and are persevering * You have a strong appetite for business development * You master the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) **Join our teams!** Marsh Risk is a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
