Your mission will be to develop backend services and maintain cloud infrastructure in order to support large-scale growth, improve system reliability, and reduce operational complexity through automation. /p h3Your future team /h3 pWe work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together. You will be part of a team of 6 people, including a Tech Lead and an Engineering Manager. The team is divided into two sub-squads; you will specifically join the sub-team of 2 people dedicated to the Serverless Jobs product. You will also collaborate frequently with other product teams and SREs. Manager information: Émilie BOUIN. /p h3Your daily routine /h3 pTasks /p ul liDevelop backend services using Go /li liDesign and orchestrate complex workflows using Temporal /li liManage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Packer /li liMaintain applications deployed on Kubernetes via FluxCD /li liEvolve and maintain CI/CD pipelines on GitLab /li liPerform code reviews and participate in daily meetings to co-build technical solutions /li liHandle production management rotations and manage support escalations /li liContribute to the automation and standardization of distributed systems /li liMentor junior profiles and share technical knowledge with the team /li liCollaborate on cross-functional projects to ensure architectural consistency /li /ul h3About you /h3 pHARD SKILLS: /p ul liSolid experience in backend development with Go (ideally 5+ years of experience) /li liStrong proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production /li liHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Packer) /li liExpertise in CI/CD automation and GitOps tools (GitLab CI, FluxCD) /li liExperience building and scaling distributed systems (resilience, retries, latency management) /li /ul pSOFT SKILLS: /p ul liCollaborative mindset: Ability to work effectively in a team and on cross-functional projects /li liAdaptability: Curiosity and willingness to learn a wide and demanding technical stack /li liAutonomy Rigor: Pragmatic approach to managing incidents and production escalations /li liCommunication: Capable of explaining complex technical decisions clearly /li liMentorship: Willingness to support the growth of more junior engineers /li /ul h3What you will find at Scaleway /h3 pHybrid work: We offer up to 3 days of remote work per week.
