ESC Teams is hiring a Senior Account Manager (H/F)

Position: Senior Account Manager – Permanent contract (CDI)

Reporting to: Motorsport Manager

Location: To be determined

Start date: October 2026

Number of positions available: 1

Experience: 5 years in the field; knowledge of the motorsport sector is a plus

Objectives

• Strengthening and maintaining lasting relationships with clients ;
• Creative mindset and Conception of Premium programs, experiences and proposals
• Management of proposals and negotiations with a value-creation approach ;
• Management of operations related to projects developed for clients, from start to finish. This includes planning , coordination with the team in charge of logistics, delegation to freelance staff and on-site supervision , and budget control ;
• Budget monitoring from the quote and purchase order stage through to final invoicing to the client, in coordination with the Commercial Director and the finance/administrative department;
• Development of profitable revenue, in line with margin objectives ;
• Identification of new and potential business opportunities with clients and development of new projects;
• Regular reporting and exchanges with the Commercial Directors.

Skills & Attitude

• Degree : a bachelor's degree level (bac+3) minimum is required.
• Experience: 5 years in-depth experience in the international events industry and project management is expected. Motorsport knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge : proficiency in standard software incl. but not limited to Microsoft 365 suite (Excel above all, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive…), PDF, AI softwares (Copilot), corporate documents management.
• Soft skills: beyond interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate, adaptability is the cornerstone of this role.

It's not just about meticulous planning : even more important is the ability to react on the ground, on the spot, since unforeseen events are common, often requiring composure, resourcefulness , and quick improvisation under pressure.

It is also essential to be able to run several projects at once , and to switch between them seamlessly, even in the middle of an event.

Salary Package & Working conditions

• Permanent contract with ESC headquarters based in Luxembourg;
• 70% remote work – 30% attending events, visiting clients or at head office
• Preferred location: Lyon and the surrounding area (SSM Group’s head office is in Lyon)
• Under French payroll management
• Working devices provided: computer, phone and new Luxembourg phone number, pro VISA card;
• Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, plus travel allowances for events;
• Base schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Flexible hours (incl some weekends) , heavily dependent on ongoing business needs
• Travel and coordination for events to be expected (approximately 8-9/year, ranging from 3 to 7 consecutive days).
