Join Our Team as a Healthcare Unit Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the daily operations of the healthcare team.
• Organize and coordinate unit activities based on patient needs and available resources.
• Ensure continuity, quality, and safety of patient care.
• Assist professionals in their daily tasks and in managing challenging situations.
• Contribute to staff scheduling and adjust workforce based on unit requirements.
• Participate in coordinating patient pathways from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate closely with medical teams and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team.
• Welcome and mentor new staff and students.
• Support the implementation of institutional procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) with a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
• Health management diploma or qualification for supervisory roles.
• Experience in managing a healthcare team.
• Experience in psychiatry is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to make decisions in a changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to support professionals and handle sensitive or conflict situations.
• Proficiency in common IT tools.

Working Conditions

• Contract: Full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract.
• Location: Lyon area.
• Working hours: 38 hours per week, with 18 RTT (reduced working time) days per year.
