• Serve as a technical leader and role model, shaping technical direction across multiple engineering teams.
  
• Architect scalable, reliable, and secure platforms, ensuring maintainable and high-performance systems.
  
• Lead initiatives that span teams and domains, identifying leverage points that unlock organizational productivity.
  
• Own technical decisions for complex projects, balancing pragmatism with long-term excellence.
  
• Drive data-driven decision making and proactively remove delivery blockers.
  
• Champion DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD best practices.
  
• Mentor senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical mastery, openness, and continuous learning.
  
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and scientific teams to align priorities and outcomes.
  
• Represent engineering in strategic discussions with leadership and external partners.
  

Requirements

• Deep experience in software engineering, with a proven record of leading complex technical initiatives.
  
• Strong background in JavaScript / TypeScript with Node.js on the backend and React or similar on the frontend.
  
• Expertise in cloud-native systems, microservice architectures, and API design.
  
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar).
  
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cloud security best practices.
  
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• A growth mindset, curiosity, and passion for learning and innovation.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
