Job Description

In a nutshell

As an Associate Product Owner , you will be contributing to defining and delivering the product roadmap of our Clinical LIMS . 

Where will you be based and what business will you support?

Based in Lyon , France ; you will join a globally distributed team in the Clinical LIMS Europe Program , that provides our central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe.

How can you help us?

You will:

• Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog in alignment with the Product Owner.
• Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
• Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
• Review product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

You have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in product development..
• Working Knowledge of Azure DevOps Services, Trello or JIRA.
• Knowledge of agile methodology for project management.
• Knowledge of Clinical Diagnostics and/or Laboratory processes.
• Understanding of laboratory KPIs; such as Sample turnaround time (TAT):
• • Productivity
  • Automation rate
  • Compliance metrics
  • Data quality
• Ability to balances operational needs with strategic objectives.
• Understanding of business value related to features and functions
• Leadership potential
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and report KPIs to program leaders
• Ability to clearly articulate the business rationale behind requirements.

• A strong communicator in English (written/oral).

• Proficient with applicable project management tools and technology.
